David Hare, CEO, NHS Partners, has a deep understanding of regulated industries, public policy development and communications, including how to ensure that an organisation’s voice is heard.
As head of the NHS Partners Network team – the trade body which represents the UK’s £9 billion independent sector healthcare industry within the NHS – David is responsible for promoting the role that the sector plays in supporting high quality health outcomes to NHS patients with the public, government, regulators and the media. He also supports the industry in managing the various operational issues which arise across the market and works to develop policy and research which helps shape a richer understanding of the benefits the independent healthcare sector brings to the NHS.
In addition to this role, David has also been a Director at a top London political communications company and Director of Strategy for another trade association in the healthcare sector. Each of these organisations has benefited from his instinctive entrepreneurial approach, looking for opportunities to build organisations and to deliver fantastic services to the end user.
David has a Batchelors degree in Politics from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and is a firm believer that educating our children and young people is one of the highest responsibilities of any society. He believes strongly in the importance of supporting first-rate education providers and in using the experience he has gained in his career to date to help the Trust continually improve its service and to build the best possible relationships with its stakeholders, including pupils, parents, local communities and the government.
