Bright Tribe Trust is a growing multi academy trust which, together with its sister trust Adventure Learning Academy Trust, works with schools in the north west, south east and south west of England and is currently setting up a new hub in the north east. As Principal of The Durham Federation you will be responsible for leading the successful implementation of Bright Tribe’s vision, ethos and ambitions and establish high quality education by leading on teaching and learning, having the highest aspirations for students and staff and ensuring the continued innovative development of all staff. The overall aim is to empower students of all backgrounds and abilities to achieve as highly as possible and to become active and positive contributors to society.
The Durham Federation consists of two colleges: Durham Community Business College based on Bracken Court Road, Ushaw Moor in Durham and Fyndoune Community College based on Findon Hill Road, Sacriston. Each site provides education to around 360 pupils and offers fantastic facilities including a construction centre, hair and beauty salon, fully equipped farm, business suite, extensive sports facilities and a CAD/CAM workshop.

Salary: £75,000 to £85,000 depending on experience
