Werneth Primary School celebrates end of year results since joining Bright Tribe
Posted on by Bright Tribe
Werneth Primary School became part of the Bright Tribe family on 1st February 2014 and since then, Bright Tribe has been working with teachers and pupils to develop its curriculum and build on the school’s achievements. Earlier this month, the Department for Education released the SAT (Standard Assessment Test) results for all primary schools and we are delighted to share Werneth Primary School’s results.
All primary schools in the UK have a target that 65% of their Year 6 pupils will achieve a combined Level 4 grade by the time they leave school.
As you can see from the below table, Werneth Primary School has not only exceeded the target but has improved on last year’s results by 9%.
The children at Werneth Primary School have exceeded their targets at both Level 4 and 5 in writing and reading and they have maintained the high standards in maths from last year
The school has also maintained its Level 4 maths results from last year and increased its Level 4 reading results by 5%.
Gail Kemp, the education adviser from Bright Tribe who has been working with the school commented: “We have been working with teachers and pupils at Werneth Primary School and we are absolutely delighted with these results.
“Both staff and pupils have worked tremendously hard and we are looking forward to improving on these results even further from September when we implement our new exciting and creative curriculum.”
We will be sharing further details of the new curriculum in early September.
